$1000 Grant awarded to South End Organic Garden Club!

The New England Grassroots Environmental Fund (NEGEF), has awarded the South End Organic Garden Club a $1000 grant! NEGEF is both a Funders/Activists’ Collaborative and a Community Network Builder. Their mission is: to energize and nurture long-term civic engagement in local initiatives that create and maintain healthy, just, safe and environmentally sustainable communities.

The grant money will be used for operating expenses for our club. We pay rent to Wesley Methodist Church for room rental and offer stipends to our educators. We also incur some expenses for advertising and purchasing paper products for the potluck.

Not only has NEGEF awarded this grant to us, but they are also acting as our 501-3c fiscal sponsors. This means that we can accept tax deductible donati. We welcome and appreciate the free will offerings that members have given at our meetings. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to our club, simply write a check to NEGEF and give/mail it to Scott Morrison at 4 Jordan Avenue, Concord, NH.  NEGEF will confirm your donation and you will earn our undying gratitude!
